SUMMARY:Christmas Carols with the Kiwanis Club K-Kids
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us this Monday\, December 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the stoplight for our annual tree lighting and community gathering. \nThe Austin Elementary K-Kids\, led by sponsor Angela Smith through the Kiwanis program\, will help light the tree and provide holiday music. Parents and students are invited to attend\, along with members of the United Way board who have supported the Memory Trees. \nWe are hoping for a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. After the tree lighting\, everyone is encouraged to come to the basement of the old church building owned by the Redevelopment Commission for hot chocolate and cookies. \nThank you to Janie Alexander\, Chair of the Beautification Committee\, for coordinating this community event\, and to Shane Terry for preparing the lights. \nWe hope to see you there to help kick off the Christmas season in Austin.
